Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissants

This week, my coworker celebrated surviving breast cancer by hosting a "pink potluck" at work. We all wore pink and many of us brought in pink food. Choosing a recipe based on the food's color is actually not an easy thing to do, but I did it. This is an easy and delicious addition to any potluck or brunch.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
Two (2) packages of croissants -- I used Pillsbury Crescents
1/2 cup of strawberries, sliced
1/2 package of cream cheese
Two tablespoons of walnuts, crushed
One tablespoon of honey
1 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, honey, 1 tsp of cinnamon sugar and walnuts.
Roll out the dough and, inside, spread out a few slices of strawberry and a dollop of cream cheese.
Roll up and set aside.

Sprinkle remaining 1/4 tsp of cinnamon sugar on top of each croissant.
Once all croissants are completed, bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!
