These little blueberry purses are so easy and are so delicious. Like, party-in-my-mouth delicious. This is a great breakfast, brunch or dessert item to serve for just a couple people or an entire house. I'm sure that if you're not a huge fan of blueberries (gasp!) you can also swap out any fruit that you'd like. Keep in mind that this recipe equals four purses.
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
Four (4) ounces of plain cream cheese -- Half of one standard-sized package
One (1) tablespoon of granulated sugar
Two (2) ounces of blueberries
One (1) package of crescent rolls/croissants
Directions
Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
Spoon cream cheese and sugar into a microwave safe bowl. Stir together.
Microwave for 40 seconds to make cream cheese warm and slightly thin.
Remove crescent rolls from package and keep two of the triangles together to form one rectangle of dough.
Press on the triangles' perforations as to seal the two triangles together. (You should have four rectangles.)
Spoon the cream cheese into the middle of each rectangle.
Spread the cream cheese out, but do not let it touch the corners.
Place 6-8 blueberries in each rectangle on top of the cream cheese.
Press the corners of each rectangle together and then unite all of the corners in the middle of that rectangle.
Do this to each of them.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until purses are golden brown.
Let cool and enjoy!
